Horizont Trapper® B12 9V / 12V Battery Fence Energiser

The Horizont Trapper® B12 energiser is a compact and reliable electric fence unit designed for small paddocks, hobby livestock keepers and temporary fencing systems. Built with beginners in mind, this versatile energiser can operate from either a 9V dry replacable internal battery (battery life for 9v approx up to 7 weeks) or a 12V rechargeable battery, making it ideal for portable electric fencing setups where mains power is not available.

For added convenience, the unit can also be paired with an optional solar panel, allowing you to create an efficient, low-maintenance fencing system for remote grazing areas.

With a maximum voltage of 8,500 volts, the Trapper B12 provides dependable power for fencing systems up to 6 km under ideal conditions.

Designed for Portable Electric Fencing

The Trapper® B12 is built for mobility and ease of use. Its lightweight design and integrated carry handle make it easy to move between grazing areas, temporary paddocks or strip-grazing systems.

The tough polycarbonate casing protects the battery and internal components from weather, knocks and outdoor conditions, helping ensure reliable performance season after season.

Solar Ready

For remote fencing systems, the energiser includes built-in solar charging control. This allows you to connect a compatible solar panel which automatically manages battery charging and switches into solar mode when available.

This feature helps reduce battery maintenance and provides a more sustainable power solution for pasture fencing.  10 watt solar panel is recommended for 12v batteries.

Easy Monitoring

A power control LED flashes in time with the fence pulse, allowing you to quickly confirm the energiser is working – even from a distance.

The practical on/off switch means you can easily turn the fence on or off without disconnecting cables.

Standard flat charge of only £10.98 for fencing kits, energisers, posts and similar sized items to UK mainland.

Small orders (sent by Royal Mail) charges are normally £5.98 for single packets of insulators and similar sized single items.

Please contact us to get a delivery quote for your order if you are in any of these areas.  Delivery to more remote areas may occasionally incur a different shipping cost. We’ll always confirm this with you first before shipment.
