On a recent trip to the Isle of Tiree (Inner Hebrides) we spotted some electric fencing and had to take some pictures!!
See the pictures below: a strip grazing fence with one line of tape to restrict a pony's grazing, a two line polywire system to keep cattle off the road and a third using a single line of electric fencing to keep cattle off a new fence using P37 ring insulators.

• Turn it on or connect to battery and see if it flashes. If not take it to be checked or send in to manufacturer for repair. Check your warranty agreements.

Modern printed circuits are nearly fool proof and the electric fence of today is definitely more reliable than of yesteryear. It is often the installation that causes the problem.
