    Why would you use this three reel system? 

    There are many applications for Three Reel Systems and they are employed for many different reasons: to facilitate strip grazing, to fence off seasonal sheep/cattle grazing, to protect walls or hedges, and as a temporary barrier.  These fences are quick and easy to put up and likewise take down and store.  Theses systems are a semi-permanent and sometimes a permanent solution to livestock containment and can be made into any configuration.

    Is my netting working properly?

     

    Here are some tips on what to check to make sure your netting is running at full capacity:

    1.  Use your KV10 LED fence tester for this as not only does it let you know the fence has power but it tells you how much power
    2.  Your netting is up and in place and has been for some time: (please make sure you turn the power off before you do theses checks)

    An electric fence is as good as the power that supplies it!

    As winter draws in it is time to double check that your battery is in tip top working order.

    Battery Tips:

    • Think about covering your battery. As the temperatures drop so does the battery's efficiency.  Stand your battery on a wooden box, cover with a bucket to keep frost, snow, ice off.  Make your battery like you when you go out ... cover up, stay as dry as you can and keep warm!
