    Today we visited Edinburgh Zoo

    If like me you have not been since you were a child I reckon it is somewhere you should consider visiting again.  The animals look well cared for and have relatively large enclosures - lots of things to do and see.  http://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/

    The zebras were sheltering from the winter weather, the lions were relaxing after breakfast, the pandas were sleeping (apparently they can sleep for up to 16 hours a day!), the pelicans were preening and the flamingos

    Ok so Guy Fawkes is fast approaching us and I am sure much like everyone I am looking forward to the fireworks BUT there are many many animals out there who do not like and are very afraid of them.
