For example, take our customer Billy Roden: he has recently been using our electric fencing to increase the fun (?) aspect of some very dirty events ....!
Our energisers and other electric kit have been used to create rather challenging electric obstacles on several obstacle and mud runs - the very worthy ToughSh!t competition which

Today we visited Edinburgh Zoo
If like me you have not been since you were a child I reckon it is somewhere you should consider visiting again. The animals look well cared for and have relatively large enclosures - lots of things to do and see. http://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/
The zebras were sheltering from the winter weather, the lions were relaxing after breakfast, the pandas were sleeping (apparently they can sleep for up to 16 hours a day!), the pelicans were preening and the flamingos

Ok so Guy Fawkes is fast approaching us and I am sure much like everyone I am looking forward to the fireworks BUT there are many many animals out there who do not like and are very afraid of them. Please if you are having a display you let the pet owners and farmers in the area know when it is on.
Below is some helpful information from the SSPCA

Hello,
As I said last week we spoke about horse fencing. Today is the turn of netting and as today it is blowing a hoolie out there it makes sense to chat about it.
So your netting has been up for a wee while now and should be working great, with the winter months round the corner we suggest with all fencing you have a check of all the components and make sure you are as winter ready as possible.
Power and connections:
It does not matter if you are running off a battery or mains power have a look

We are now in September and we have some great news we have knocked money off our 25 meter and 50 meter premium and professional nets and kits for you.
POULTRY NETTING
Electric Poultry Netting is highly effective in keeping PREDATORS OUT (e.g. foxes, badgers, dogs, cats, mink etc) and POULTRY IN. It is simple to erect, just unroll the net and tread in the posts. The nets can be easily moved around so offers poultry new grass, helps to eliminate poaching and improves soil fertility.

Summer Pasture Management
This summer has been a fantastic growing year for most farmers... but how do you make the most of your fields? This blog gives a brief insight into how one of our customers has made the most of his electric fencing and increased his production of winter fodder whilst giving his stock plenty of summer grazing.
One of our customers has sent photos in of his various set ups. He has used 12v battery powered energisers on each of his systems. His batteries have lasted
