Yip with the advent of a New Year and our brand new website due to go live online at the end of January it's an exciting time for us all here at EFD!

We've also decided to give out Newsletters a bit of a facelift - hopefully making it more engaging and thought provoking for all you lovely readers.

We are particularly interested in anything relating to life on the farm and electric fencing (of course) and our other products. And do let us know if there's any burning topics that we have missed that you'd like us to cover!

Our new style newsletter will include

  • short topical articles(that may be inspired by what's going on in the news)
  • anecdotal stories
  • we will of course still let you know about our new products and our latest promotional sales and discounts!
  • ...and last but not least, my personal favourite, real life photos and stories from you lot, the customers! ....we love to see our customers’ electric fence set-ups and customers love to see 'em too (pics can make it much easier to figure what you really need) see below for a wee flavour of what a coupla customers have already sent us

  • so please send any pictures or stories or videos to us at   [email protected]
  •  and if we do publish your item we will send you a voucher!

Here's a wee bit more detail on the sort of thing we'd love to get from you:

  • so you’ve set up your electric fence and just want to show us the pics of what you’ve achieved eg. “before” and “after” pics of the area where you’ve setup the electric fence - these would be fab - send them in!
  • or you might have some extra set up tips that we’ve not thought of, that you’d like to pass on to help other customers - send them in!
  • …you might even just have an amusing or interesting video, photo or story that you want to share with us - send it in!
  • In short if you've got anything at all that fits the bill then we'd love to hear from you so please send any pictures or stories or videos to us at [email protected] .... if we do publish your item we will send you a voucher!

For instance, Kirsten Griffiths in Kent sent us these photos when she Fox proofed her enclosure - very neat and tidy i'm sure you'll agree! Kirsten used honey and jam (not sure what flavour!) on one of the lower lines to entice Mr Fox so he got a good shock early on and did not return to the chickens - we do hope the told his pals too!
