Get the best from your electric fence in dry conditions

Whilst we are all enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather give a thought for your electrice fence. 

As we haven't had much rain recently is highly likely the ground is quite dry.

Your earth rod does not perform at its best if the ground is too dry though.

So it's worth a check and if necessary water it.

Ideally make sure it's pushed all the way into the ground preferably in a shaded area into good quality earth 

Lastly look over all your connection cables - corrosion or any sign of a break need addressing
